This rear sprocket mounts to your hub to drive the rear wheel. Teeth eventually hook or thin out, leading to chain jump and power loss. The hybrid construction uses a hardened steel outer ring for maximum service life and an aluminium inner to shed unsprung weight. Match the pitch and tooth count to your specific gearing requirements for MX or enduro use. Always install with new sprocket bolts and a medium-strength thread lock.
