What it is
The PARTS UNLIMITED 18" STANDARD BUTYL TUBE TR-4 STEM TYPE FITS 4.00/5.10 120/90, tubes. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Standard butyl rear tube. Fits 18" rims running 120/90 or 4.00/5.10 rubber, so it covers most enduro and trail setups. TR-4 stem clears the rim lock cleanly. Butyl holds pressure better than cheap aftermarket alternatives, which matters when you're checking sag in the van park at 6am. Swap it every second tyre change, sooner if the carcass is showing chafe marks or the patch count is climbing. Check the rim lock nut and the band tape before you fit it. Dust the carcass with talc on the way in. Tubes that scrub against dry rubber heat up, and hot tubes split.
