Heidenau's job here is the boring one nobody thanks them for until a tube lets go halfway round a moto. The 90-degree stem is the point. Straight valves on a CRF 50, PW 50 or QR 50 leave you wrestling a pump head against the disc and hub. Angled, it sits proud of the rim and takes a track pump without drama. Fit it dry, dust the inside of the tyre with talc, and check the rim tape covers every spoke nipple before you bolt the wheel back in. Run the pressure your kid's bike actually needs, not what the sidewall says.
