What it is

The airbox cover seals the intake against mud and standing water while still letting the filter breathe. It clips and bolts to the airbox on the factory points, sitting flush against the rear side panel. Boots, knee braces and the odd lay-down chew these up over a season of enduro and MX, and a cracked or bowed cover lets grit past the filter rim. That is the fast route to a scored bore. This one matches OEM dimensions across the 2-stroke and 4-stroke KTM SX, SX-F, EXC and EXC-F range, so it drops onto a tired chassis and seals tight.
