What it is

Airbox and cover kit for the 2022-on YZ 125 and 250 two-strokes. It sits inboard of the side panels and forms the seal around the air filter, so it's part of the intake, not just bodywork. Get this wrong and grit finds the carb. The originals tend to crack at the fastener bosses and stain from fuel and filter oil over a few seasons. This assembly drops onto the standard mounting positions and restores a clean seal to the intake tract. Worth doing during a full chassis strip, or any time the housing is split or distorted enough to let dirt past.
