What it is

The POLISPORT AIRBOX RESTYLE PLASTIC FOR YZ125/250 BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Restyle airbox plastic for the Yamaha YZ 125 and YZ 250, in black. It carries the air filter assembly on the rear subframe and updates the side profile to a more current shape, with a flatter face for your leg against the bike. Bolts to the existing subframe as a direct replacement, no fabrication. The one thing that matters on fitting: get the filter seal flush against the new plastic. A gap here feeds dust straight to the carb and into the bore, and on a two-stroke that wears a top-end fast. Check the seal before you ride.
