What it is
The POLISPORT BOTTOM FORK PROTECTOR BLACK, fork guards. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Sits on the lower fork leg, clamped at the axle lug, hugging the casting that takes the worst of the trail. Roost, ruts, and rocks reach the bottom of the fork first on Austrian-built two-strokes and the WP-equipped four-stroke EXC/FE platform. Catches stone strikes that otherwise gouge the magnesium casting and chew the area around the brake caliper mount. Bolts on with the existing axle pinch hardware, no fork disassembly. Fits the long-running EXC, EXC-F, SX, SX-F, TC, TE, FC, FE, XC and XC-W families across the KTM, Husqvarna and Husaberg years that ran the WP 48mm chassis. Cheap insurance against a casting replacement.
