What it is

Bolts to the axle lugs at the very bottom of the fork, where the cast aluminium takes hits from rocks, ruts and stumps. On a YZ front end those castings are pricey to replace once they're gouged through, so the plastic eats the abuse first. Fits the standard KYB SSS lug pattern across the YZ/YZF range, uses the existing axle pinch bolts to clamp on. No drilling, no zip-ties. Strip it off at wash time, check for cracks, refit. Cheap insurance for anyone running hard enduro lines or stony Welsh trails.
