What it is

The POLISPORT BOTTOM FORK PROTECTOR GREEN, fork guards. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Polisport's lower fork guard clips over the axle lug at the base of the stanchion, where the aluminium casting takes the worst of the rock strikes. Sized for the KX 250 F and KX 450 F front end. Sacrificial plastic. Cheap to swap, unlike a gouged fork bottom. Mounts with the existing axle pinch bolts and a clip up top, so install runs in minutes during a normal wheel-out. Fits in green to match Polisport's wider Kawasaki bodywork range. Worth running on any bike that sees rock gardens, deep stony ruts, or hard-enduro lines.
