What it is

Polisport's lower fork guard clips to the slider casting and takes the hits the upper guard misses. The bottom of the leg sits in the firing line on a CRF 250 R, 450 R or 450 RX — rock strikes, root knocks, packed mud abrading the cast aluminium every lap. A gouged slider eventually pits the bushing seat and ends the leg. This wraps the vulnerable section in injection-moulded polypropylene. Fits the factory mount points, no drilling. White moulding holds its colour better than painted lowers after a pressure-wash. Cheap insurance against an expensive fork bottom.
