What it is

The POLISPORT CLUTCH COVER PROTECTOR BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Polisport's clutch cover protector takes the hits your engine casing shouldn't. It bolts to the lower right of the cases and acts as a sacrificial shield against rocks, ruts and boot scuff. The thin OEM cast cover cracks under a hard strike on a rocky line; this guard wears instead. Moulded to suit the Suzuki RM-Z 250, so the profile stays slim and clears the rear brake pedal. Goes on through the existing bolt holes, no machining. Black finish keeps the cases looking factory and protects resale come trade-in time.
