What it is

The POLISPORT DISC&FORK PROTECTOR KXF BK/GRY, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This guards the KX 250 and KX 450/450F brake disc and lower fork lug against the stone strikes and rut contact that kill a front end on rough terrain. It fits via a replacement axle spacer, so the right part depends on your axle diameter; check that first. The shield keeps grit clear of the caliper and stops the rotor edge taking direct hits in deep ruts. Black with a grey guard. A small fitment that saves an expensive disc and a scarred fork bottom.
