What it is

The POLISPORT FORK COVER SX/SXF 23- / EXC/EX, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolt-on lower-leg armour for the 2023-on SX/SXF and EXC/EXC-F front end. The Polisport shell wraps the outer tube between the axle clamp and the dust seal, taking the hit from flint, sharp roost and the odd rock you misjudge on a downhill rut. Fits the WP XACT 48mm forks with the factory mounting points, no drilling, no spacers. Worth fitting fresh whenever you pull the lowers for an oil change — old plastic goes brittle around the bolt bosses and lets debris track up to the seal lip. Cheap insurance against a stanchion nick and a weeping seal mid-moto.
