What it is

The POLISPORT FORK GUARDS BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Polisport plastic lower guards for late-model YZ and WR forks. They clip and bolt onto the existing OEM mounting points on the outer fork legs, wrapping the slider area where roost and flint chew through the chrome. A nicked stanchion shreds the next set of seals within an hour of riding. These take the hits instead. Black matches the OEM look on YZ 125, YZ 250, YZ 250F, YZ 450F and the WR 250R trail bike. Run a finger inside the brake-line channel before final torque so the hose isn't pinched against the guard at full compression.
