The POLISPORT FORK GUARDS WHITE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolt-on lower-leg covers for late-model YZ forks. They wrap the chrome stanchion below the axle clamp and catch the stones that come back off the front wheel before they pit the slider. A pitted slider chews fork seals in a weekend. Polisport mould these to the Yamaha lug pattern, so the OEM hardware threads straight in with no shimming. Fits the YZ 125, 125 X, 250, 250 F, 250 FX, 250 X, 450 F and 450 FX. Replace any time the existing pair shows a crack near the upper mount or the slider starts marking up after deep ruts.
