What it is

The POLISPORT FORK GUARDS WHITE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts to the lower legs of the conventional KYB front end on the WR 250 F and WR 450 F enduro chassis, wrapping the slider where roost lives. Two-piece Polisport plastic, OEM-spec geometry, takes the standard fork lug bolts. Important on the WR platform because a single sharp stone through an unguarded slider scores the chrome, then chews the dust seal and oil seal on the next stroke. Replace any time the existing guard is cracked, faded, or missing a tab. Torque the lug bolts to spec on refit — the threads are in aluminium and strip easily.
