What it is

The POLISPORT IGNITION COVER PROTECTOR FOR KTM/HUSQVARNA BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts over the ignition cover on the left case to take the abuse your boot heel and trail debris throw at it. The cast cover underneath is soft alloy; once your heel wears through the finish, corrosion follows. This black guard takes that wear instead. Slim enough to keep your foot planted and your shift action clean. Shares the existing cover bolts on the 450 four-stroke platform across KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas. Clean the mating face before fitting so no grit gets trapped against the OEM cover. Cheap insurance against an expensive case.
