What it is

The POLISPORT MUD FLAP SX/SXF/EXC/EXCF 24 BL, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Replacement mud flap for the 2024-on KTM SX, SX-F, EXC and EXC-F. It sits between the airbox and rear tyre and takes the roost that would otherwise blast the shock shaft, seals and linkage. On UK winter ground that flap is the difference between a clean shock and a chewed shaft seal. The plastic goes brittle with age and constant flex, so a cracked one stops doing its job. Bolts to the lower airbox on the standard hardware. Check your mounting holes for wear before fitting. A cheap part that protects an expensive rear end.
