What it is

The POLISPORT MUDFLAP CRF450 21- BK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Black mudflap that fits between the rear tyre and airbox on the 2021-on CRF 250 and CRF 450. Its job is to keep direct roost off the shock and linkage, so grit stops packing around the lower shock bearing and the linkage pivots. That mud is what wears bearings and seals out early. Bolts to the existing airbox mounting points as a straight OEM-shape replacement. The plastic flexes constantly and the mount holes eventually tear, which is when you swap it. Cheap insurance for the back end of the bike. High-impact moulding.
