These radiator covers sit in front of the cores and take the roost and stone strikes before they reach the fins. Bent fins choke airflow and cook the coolant, so the guard does real work, not just cosmetics. Heat cycles and impacts fatigue the original plastic until it shatters at the wrong moment. This set matches OEM mounting points for a direct bolt-on fit to the Yamaha YZ 80 and YZ 80 LW. Clear any mud packed between the louvres after a wash so the cores keep breathing. Stiff enough to shrug off vibration from a two-stroke that lives at the top of the rev range.
