What it is
The POLISPORT REAR SHOCK FLAP ORANGE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Sits behind the airbox and closes off the gap to the rear shock and linkage. Roost, mud and standing water all get thrown at the shock shaft on a wet lap, and grit on a wet shaft is how seals start weeping. This flap takes that hit instead. Moulded to OEM dimensions, it bolts to the subframe through the existing points. The plastic that lives there cracks and tears at the mounts after a season of jet washing, so renew it before grit finds the shaft. Fits across the KTM SX, SX-F, EXC, EXC-F and XC range.
