These plastics shield the subframe and airbox from debris while providing a flat surface for race numbers. They sit directly below the seat and extend toward the rear mudguard. Heavy boot friction and crash damage are the main reasons for replacement. These parts use injection-moulded construction to match the factory fit and finish. Use your original bolts and washers for installation. If your subframe is slightly tweaked from a spill, lead the bolts in by hand to avoid cross-threading the subframe inserts.
