What it is

The POLISPORT SKDPLATE W/LINKAGE KT HVA, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This Fortress guard pairs a full skid plate with an integrated linkage shield, built for the 250/350/450 four-stroke KTM SX-F/XC-F and GasGas MC/EX/EC frames. The plate covers the cases and frame rails; the rear section wraps the lower shock mount and link arms, the parts that take the hits on hard enduro and seize their bearings when mud packs in. Moulded plastic that slides obstacles rather than digging in. Fitment follows frame geometry, so the linkage cradle is shaped to this platform. Hose the link area out after a wet ride.
