What it is

This forged black blade covers the Honda CRF line, from the 250 L and M trail bikes through the 250 and 450 R and X race machines. It bolts to the right-hand perch and bears on the master cylinder plunger, so the squeeze translates to braking with no slop. The forged grain resists the snap a cast lever gives up in a crash. Fitment is cut to the OEM perch and is model-specific, so confirm yours first. Replace a bent or scored stocker and the front brake feels tighter the next time you load it hard.
