This small-end needle bearing sits in the top of the connecting rod. It supports the gudgeon pin and allows the piston to pivot. High-revving two-strokes put immense stress on this part. Replace it every time you perform a top-end piston change. A worn bearing can lead to needle failure and severe cylinder damage. This 12x16x15 bearing is a precision fit for your bike. Always lubricate with assembly lube or two-stroke oil before sliding the pin through. It is a cheap insurance policy against total engine failure.
