ProX connecting rod kit to fit the KTM SX 105, model years 2004, 2006–2011; KTM SX 85 17/14, model years 2003–2012; and KTM SX 85 19/16, model years 2003–2012.
This kit manages the critical connection in your bottom-end. It links the piston to the crankshaft, converting every stroke into drive. Big-end bearings eventually develop play, or the rod fatigues from high-RPM stress. Replacing the rod is standard practice during a full rebuild to avoid catastrophic failure. Each kit includes the rod, big-end pin, bearing, and thrust washers. These components match OEM specifications for a direct fit. You will need a hydraulic press and truing stand for installation. Precision is vital. Ensure your crank webs are perfectly aligned after assembly to prevent vibration through the bike.
