Replace this part when teeth show visible hooking or thinning. Swapping tooth counts allows you to tune your power delivery for specific tracks. Dropping a tooth adds snap for tight technical sections while adding a tooth increases top-end for fast open trails. Always install with a fresh lock washer or circlip. Match this with a new chain and rear drive gear to ensure even wear across the entire system.
