What it is

The RICK'S MOTORSPORT ELECTRIC COIL TRIGGER 140 OHM, ignition coils. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This trigger coil, or pickup coil, sends the timing signal to the CDI to initiate the spark. It sits inside the stator cover near the flywheel. A failed trigger coil will result in no spark, often only when the engine gets hot. This unit features a 140 Ohm resistance specification to match the original electrical requirements. Replacing this part is a cost-effective alternative to buying a complete stator assembly. You will need to solder the wires into your existing loom or use the provided connectors depending on your specific setup.
