What it is
The SCAR ALUMINUM THROTTLE TUBE & BEARING BLUE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Stock plastic tubes crack or snap on a hard impact. This Scar item is machined from aluminium and shrugs off the same hit. A bearing pressed into the bar end kills friction at that point, so the throttle returns clean and consistent every time. The knurled surface gives glue a proper key for the grip. It seats inside the housing and replaces the OEM tube directly. Strip old adhesive, fit it, then check cable routing through full lock both ways before you ride. Blue anodised. Fits the Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha four-stroke MX range: KX 450 F, RM-Z 250, YZ 250 F and more.
