What it is

A plastic throttle tube is the first thing to break in a crash. Scar machines this one from aluminium, so it takes the impact and keeps working. The bar-end bearing removes friction at the pivot and gives a smooth, repeatable return off the stop. Knurling lets grip glue bite properly. It drops into the housing in place of the OEM tube. Clear out old adhesive, fit it, and run the cable through full lock each way to confirm free movement. Red anodised. Suits the Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha four-stroke MX line, including the KX 450, RM-Z 450 and YZ 450 F.
