What it is

The SCAR LAUNCH CONTROL GGAS RD, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

SCAR's launch holdback compresses the forks against a latch plate on the front fender, planting the front wheel for a clean drive off the gate. The hinged collar clamps round the stanchion without pulling the forks from the clamps. Drill the front guard once to mount the latch, set the trigger, and you're done. First hard squeeze of the brake into turn one pops the catch and the forks return to full travel. Fitment covers the WP XACT and KYB AOS forks across the EXC, SX, FC, FE and EC ranges. Rinse the trigger pin after every meeting so grit doesn't sieze it shut on the line.
