The Apex clamp set steps the 85 up to billet machining, holding the fork legs square and cutting the stiction a worn stock set lets in. The fork tracks the dirt instead of binding, and the front end feels sharper turning in. Offset matches the original 85 steering geometry across the SX 85, TC 85 and MC 85, in both 17/14 and 19/16 wheel sizes. Steering bearing is supplied pre-pressed, so the rebuild goes straight together. Torque the pinch bolts to OEM spec. A solid fix for a clamp set that has taken one too many hits.
