What it is
The SCAR WHEEL SPACER REAR SX/SXF 03-12, wheel spacers. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Rear hub spacer for the 03-12 SX/SXF chassis. The stock spacers are soft. Seal lips cut grooves into the outer face inside a season, and once that groove opens up, water and grit walk straight past the seal and into the bearing. You feel it as a notchy back wheel and a hub that's hot after a moto. Scar CNC these from hardened billet, so the seal runs on a face that stays smooth. Press the new spacers in when you do bearings and seals. Check the axle slides through clean and the wheel pulls up square in the swingarm before you torque the axle nut.
