The SHOWA SERVICE KIT FF 47MM, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Full front-end refresh for 47mm Showa twin-chamber forks. Kit covers oil seals, dust seals, slider bushings and guide bushings — every wear part that touches the stanchion or holds oil. Fits the older 47mm Showa generation found on CR 250 R, CRF 250 R, CRF 450 R, KX 250 F, RM 125, RM 250 and the early RM-Z 250 / 450. Pull the kit at every other oil change, or sooner if you spot weeping at the dust seal lip or stiction off the top of the stroke. Check stanchions for stone-pecks before pressing new seals — one nick wrecks fresh rubber on the first compression.
