Clutch springs lose their tension over time due to heat and constant cycling. Weak springs lead to clutch slip under load, even if your plates are within spec. This kit provides the necessary clamping force to keep your drive engaged. These springs are often wound slightly stiffer than OEM to improve lever feel and bite. Replace them as a set whenever you refresh your friction plates or steels. Consistent pressure across the pressure plate prevents uneven wear on your clutch pack. It is a vital upgrade for high-hour bikes or heavy-duty racing.
