This assembly replaces your internal support structure and foam element. The rigid cage maintains the filter shape under high vacuum to prevent collapsing. It sits deep in the airbox and secures with the standard central bolt. Check your cage regularly for bent wires or cracks that might puncture the foam. This kit is essential if your original cage is damaged or lost. Ensure the filter is seated flush against the airbox boot to stop dirt entering the intake tract. Clean and re-oil after every dusty ride.
