This coarse foam skin fits over your primary air filter for extra protection in extreme conditions. It acts as a sacrificial layer during desert races or deep sand tracks. It catches the bulk of the grit before it reaches your main filter. This extends your service intervals during long events. It does not significantly restrict airflow when used correctly. Simply pull it off when it becomes clogged to reveal a clean filter underneath. It is a vital addition for hard enduro or beach racing where intake contamination is a constant threat.
