What it is

The TWIN AIR AIR FILTER DUST-COVER, air filters. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This fine mesh sleeve acts as a pre-filter for your main foam element. It sits over the outside of the filter to trap heavy sand and dust before they reach the foam. This part is essential for beach racing or riding in extremely dry, silty conditions. It extends the life of your primary filter and maintains airflow for longer during a race. Simply pull the cover off when it becomes clogged to reveal a clean filter underneath. It is a cheap insurance policy against engine power loss in harsh environments.
