What it is
The TWIN AIR AIRBOX COVER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
This protective cover is used during maintenance to seal the intake from moisture and debris. It fits directly onto the airbox flange in place of the filter. Using this part allows you to pressure wash the airbox thoroughly without risking water ingress into the cylinder. It is a mandatory item for any serious workshop setup. Ensure the mounting bolt is snug to compress the seal. Preventing water from reaching your intake tract is the easiest way to avoid premature bearing and piston failure.
