This dual-layer foam element features a laminated layer of flame-retardant foam. It allows you to remove the restrictive OEM backfire screen on your four-stroke for improved throttle response. It sits inside your airbox on the filter cage. Replace this part when the foam begins to perish or the bonded seams show signs of separation. Clean and re-oil after every dusty session to protect your top-end. Ensure a proper seal against the airbox intake tract during installation to prevent dirt bypass.
