This replacement filter is designed specifically for use with the Powerflow aluminium cage. It features a laminated layer of fire-resistant foam. This allows you to remove the restrictive OEM backfire screen without risking a fire in the airbox. It provides a direct path for air to reach the throttle body or carburettor. Check the foam for degradation after every wash. Replace the filter if the bonded seams begin to pull apart. It is a critical component for maintaining peak throttle response on four-stroke machines.
