This fine mesh cover provides a vital secondary defense in dry, dusty conditions. It fits over your prepared air filter to trap fine particles before they reach the foam. This prevents the main filter from loading up and choking the engine during a long moto. It is particularly effective for sand tracks and summer cross-country events. The fitment is tailored for the 2025 KX250. It does not significantly restrict airflow when clean. Simply pull it off when it becomes heavily soiled to reveal a fresh filter underneath.
