§ 02 / About this part
What it is
Twin Air nylon Grand Prix cover to fit Yamaha WR250F (2015–2019); Yamaha WR450F (2016–2018); Yamaha YZ250F (2014–2022); Yamaha YZ250FX (2016); Yamaha YZ450F (2014–2022).
This nylon pre-filter acts as an additional layer of defence for your intake system. It sits directly over your oiled foam filter to trap heavy dust and sand before they reach the primary element. This is essential for beach races or dry, silty tracks where a standard filter can clog quickly. By catching the bulk of the debris, it maintains airflow for longer and protects your top-end from grit ingestion. Whether using a specific shape or a universal cut, simply fit it over the oiled element during your pre-race prep to extend your service interval.
