This filter is designed for four-stroke bikes where backfiring through the intake is a risk. It features a laminated layer of flame-retardant foam to prevent the filter from catching fire. This specific version is a replacement for Powerflow kits. It allows you to remove the restrictive OEM backfire screen for improved airflow and sharper throttle response. The dual-layer foam comes pre-oiled for immediate use. Ensure the sealing flange is seated correctly against the airbox to prevent dirt bypass. Regular replacement is critical for maintaining engine compression and overall performance.
