This dual-stage foam filter provides the primary defence for your top-end. It sits inside the airbox, trapping debris before it reaches the throttle body or carburettor. The coarse outer layer handles mud and sand while the dense inner foam stops fine dust. You must oil this filter thoroughly before installation. Use a dedicated foam filter oil and squeeze out any excess. Never wring the foam as this can tear the bonded seams. Clean and re-oil after every ride in dry, silty conditions to maintain peak engine performance.
