This dual-layer foam filter is the standard replacement for your OEM element. It sits on the factory cage inside the airbox. The coarse outer foam stops large clumps of mud and sand, while the fine inner foam traps dust. It is a critical service item for any off-road bike. Replace the filter if the foam starts to crumble or if the rubber seal at the base is damaged. Always apply a thin layer of grease to the sealing surface to ensure no dirt bypasses the filter during your ride.
