This mud plate sits between the rear tyre and the shock absorber. It prevents grit and roost from scouring the shock shaft and damaging the seals. It mounts to the front of the airbox using standard fasteners. Over time, these plates become brittle or tear at the mounting holes. Replacing a worn plate is a simple way to extend the service life of your rear suspension. The fitment is specific to the chassis. It ensures the airbox remains sealed while allowing the swingarm to move freely through its stroke.
