What it is

The UFO UNIVERSAL ALU HANDGUARDS FOR 28,6mm (1 1/8") PRO-TAPER BARS BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Full-wrap guards sized for 28.6mm (1-1/8") Pro Taper oversized bars. An internal aluminium loop ties the bar end to the inner clamp, giving the plastic a frame that resists folding in a crash. That frame is what keeps a lever attached when the bike lands on its side. Built for hard enduro and technical trail, where brush and rock get at your hands. Check you run the larger taper profile, not a 7/8" bar, before fitting. The bar-end insert needs a cleanly cut throttle tube to rotate without binding.
