What it is

The UFO UNIVERSAL ALU HANDGUARDS FOR 28,6mm (1 1/8") PRO-TAPER BARS CR/F-RED, controls. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Full-wrap guards for 28.6mm (1-1/8") Pro Taper bars. The internal aluminium bar mounts to the bar ends and the inner taper, building a skeleton around your levers. In a fall the shell deforms around that frame instead of snapping your clutch or brake lever clean off. It also blocks roost and brush from your hands on technical trail and hard enduro. Requires the larger taper, so check your bar profile first. Make sure the throttle tube is cut square so the bar-end insert lets the grip rotate cleanly.
