Complete engine renewal for the 1990-91 CR125R: crankshaft, main bearings, seals and a full top-end in one kit. On a 125 this old, the crank seals matter as much as the piston. Once they harden, the engine pulls air past them, runs lean and seizes. Replacing everything together closes off that failure chain. The forged piston gives you more seizure margin than the stock cast item. Check the cylinder plating before anything goes back together; a rebuilt bottom-end won't save a worn bore.
